QUESTIONS FOR THIS WEEK
(READ BEFORE YOU ARRIVE)

Ice Breaker: What were you doing in 2006? Where did you live? What was going on in your life? Were you working, or in school? Single or married?

What are some of your earliest memories of our church? What stood out that made us unique or different?

Read Acts 15:1-19. Describe in your own words the tension that was going on in these verses. What was this really about?

What similar tensions do you see in the churches  today?

How does / should “not making it difficult for those turning to God”  impact the way we do church?

How have you, or someone you have brought, been impacted by this?

On Sunday, we talked about 5 things we all need to do to continue this impact at our church. We phrased these in the form a question. Why are questions better than answers?

The first question was: What’s my next step? Growth is never accidental, it is intentional. What are you intentionally doing right now to take your next step? How might our church suffer if you don’t?

The second question: Who am I bringing? Who are you bringing on Easter? What creative ways have you found to not just invite, but bring people?

If someone saved your life, would you tell people? What is holding you back from bringing someone to meet your Savior? What will you do about it?

Question three: Does my giving honor God? Are you a tither or a tipper? What could you begin doing this week to honor God with your finances?

Question four: How can I help? Read John 2:1-11. How have you seen the miracle because you serve? What is holding you back from stepping up and serving?

Finally: When should I be there for our guests? What difference does your punctuality and attendance  really make? How can you help encourage others to come early and consistently?

What would happen if our church worked these questions into the rhythms of their daily lives?
