QUESTIONS FOR THIS WEEK
(READ BEFORE YOU ARRIVE)

Ice Breaker: What is something you are currently looking forward to?

Read (or from memory quote) our theme verse: Hebrews 6:9 (NLT) We are all looking forward to better things. On Sunday, we talked about two things that impact us when we are anticipating something. What were they? (Hint: They both start with “P”)

When the p_____ gets difficult, how does focusing on the p_____ _____ help?

Read Hebrews 10:34-35 (NLT).  Contrast how you typically respond to suffering, or when things are taken away from you, and how these first century Christ-Followers responded in this                 passage.

What encouragement does the writer of Hebrews give us in verses 34 & 35?

What are some things you “hang” your hope on? Why do we tend to hang onto those things instead of hanging onto our highest hope?

Read Hebrews 6:18-20 (NLT). What is this “hope we have as an anchor?”  How does this hope help us daily along the p_____?

Read Hebrews 10:36 (NLT).  To receive the better things you were made for, you have to endure the season patiently. How do we develop patient endurance?

If we can trust God with our salvation, then we can trust God with our situation.  What situation do you need to trust God with?

What is one thing we talked about that can help you?
